A very crazy thing happened today!

 

There are only two people we know in Chicago. And we met one when we were DRIVING ON A 8-lane HIGHWAY in Chicago!!!!

 

Last weekend he bought a new car in Jersey. Cars in Jersey are usually cheaper, and we also got a really good deal on it.  This weekend we flew down and drove it back to Minnesota.  The trip was 22 hours (to be easy on the new engine)  of driving, across Pennsylvenia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

 

When we passed by Chicago, the traffic was very bad and we moved like 10 miles/hour on the interstate highway.   We saw a blue Hyundai coupe two lanes away, a few cars ahead.  

I said: "that's Eric's car."

What I meant was, that's the same car Eric drove. 

Then our lane moved a bit more, I saw the Hyundai has a Virginia plate. 

I said: "and it's also from Virginia."

He: " Does Eric's bumper have stickers on?"

Me: " Dunno."

Our lane moved faster now, the two cars now were almost parrallel.

He: " Ah.... the OLD lady on the passenger seat looks nothing like his girlfriend. It would be crazy if it's Eric's. "

Me: " It might be his mom...... (we passed by that car)  and SHE IS ERIC'S MOM!"

 

He (notorious Jersey driver) cut off a car to get into the next lane, waiting for Eric's car, which was in the other even slower lane.  When he came, we squeezed the front of the car into his lane and hunked . Eric's mom looked scared, and Eric had his typical face of "What the fuck.."  We rolled down the window and waved like crazy. 

 

Eric: " What the fuck are you doing in Chicago?". He smiled.
